Now that's an emotional statement.

I'm not sure what I can say about this movie as far as critiques go... but I have to say that this was well done. You managed to portray the feeling of depression and suicide very well through the animation and choice of music.

Great job.

Heh. Not too bad.

I was about to blam this after watching the first few seconds because, from the impression of watching the dolls move down the factory line, that the movie was nothing but a repeating movie of dolls being shipped through a conveyor belt.

Then I saw that green doll. I have to admit, the ending made me laugh out loud, because I wasn't expecting it.

However, I don't know if this movie's going to survive entry. It's kind of slow, with sparse, uninteresting graphics. There isn't really enough to keep someone watching - I just happened to see that green baby and go "WTF."

Next flash, I suggest working a bit on your graphiczors, and keeping the action rolling. Keep the viewer interested and not have so many pauses or such - in the case of this movie, devoting half a minute to two "good" babies coming out of a production line is not good.

Good, but...

The main problem with this is the file size. As an intro for one of the most popular sites on the 'net, I don't think a lot of users would want to hang around to download 3 MB worth of an intro.

I'm betting most of the file size is attributed to that song. I suggest you lower the quality of the sound being played so that it's a quicker download and easily accessable.

Heh!

This one was rich. :D Just right for the file size, and it illuminates the whole bit with sprites and hand drawn things.

Good work! Keep goin'!

ty for teh review, tried to keep the file small

Well...

It's not that bad. For some reason this reminds me a lot of the Cheat flash movies over at H*R.

To be honest it was a little confusing at times, but it's an honest first try. I'm curious, though; where did the sprites come from? Did you make those yourself or are they rips from a game? They have a defnite Final Fantasy look...

The movie itself kind of drags on. I understand this is a music video, but... In my opinion, the scenes tend to stay the same without much of a change or anything really interesting to keep your attention. There's a few flash made backgrounds, but a lot of it is sprites and cropped images. Not that there's anything WRONG with sprites and cropped images (especially coming from a guy who did a sprite-based RO flash on his first try), but here... it just doesn't seem to work.

On the whole, it's nothing that's outstanding, but given this is your first shot, it's not outright horrible. That may just be me.

Not bad for a first try.

In all honesty though, I wouldn't call this a game. It's more like an interactive movie. Granted, making full on games is a tough deal, but this falls in line with the first H*R game the Brothers Chaps made (where it was you just picking a flower).

That being said, it was still amusing. I enjoyed the tank running over Bill Gares' car, to be sure. The cars themselves were pretty well done, as was the actual destruction of them, but the objects that performed such destruction were lacking in comparison.

In all, this is not a bad first attempt. Keep at it!

Hmm...

This isn't that bad. Definitely NOT blam material, in my eyes. I can tell you put a lot of work into this - your graphics style is okay, but I would suggest more shading and detail for everything. Also, try thinking about making things appear more blurred depending on their distance from the camera to simulate depth-of-field effects.

Also, as some others pointed out, there were long pauses in the varying scenes, where there were no sounds or actions taking place. You might want to remove those so that the movie flows better.

However, I did enjoy watching this. Keep at it, and keep striving to improve!

Ah yes... Instagib.

Gotta love being railed out of nowhere.

Excellent work. As far as suggestions, I would go for a cleaner look, with less gradient fills. That's just my opinion, though.

The sound was spot-on, and the Q3A sounds made it all the more funny.

In all, a nice clean (Heh! Clean? We got gibs!) flash that provides a lot of laughs. Keep at it!

Heh, this was pretty good.

You've got some skillz there. Nothing much to really critique on; you've got a good thing here; a nice music video to Chocobo-Robo remix.

I must say, the dancing Cid line was awesome.

Keep it up!

Woohoo!

I tell you what. After watching this trailer, I can't wait to see the next installment of Console Wars. Contrary to what was said before...

"Just get the dam movie done for one you can take aslong as you like and noone cares, but by releasing a gay preveiw whihc has no purpose other than to piss me off you manage to confine yourself to a date whihc prolly makes your work of a less than desired level."

(... whatever the hell that guy was saying) I liked this trailer. Excellent way to showcase what you have in store, what you can do, and to get the NG masses' interest piqued!

He's aming for the gold! He's aiming! He's - OOOH! HE'S FALLEN INTO THE NAKED SINGULARITY!!
